New to town

I'm Cat. And as you can probably tell, I'm new to town. What town? You might ask. Big Memphis. You see I just graduated high school in Missouri and at the beginning of the summer I was faced with three enticing options. I could:

 1. Go to school as planned. Be a normal 18 year old and go to a normal college to become a normal freshman. Like normal people do. But that's the thing. Normal isn't fun. Or enticing at all.

Option nĂºmero dos: stay home, work full time and "ease" my way into school by taking one or two courses a semester. Well, that just sounds lazy and irresponsible. So for half of Missouri, yet again; Normal. I just didn't want to fall into the cracks of boring, dull, lifeless; all synonymous with, normal.

So here came number three, and I'm so glad it did. Take a year off and have an adventure. At least that's my title for it. My mothers was "Pack your things, I'm shipping you off to your sisters so you can learn to grow up". Either way, I'm here and I sure am glad.

So after I got down here and settled in a little, I got the idea to blog my adventures from one of my roommates, Kali who is also doing it. So if you want to hear about all of my awesome, and not so awesome (I can't guarantee these will all be golden posts), adventures, strap in and come along for the ride!
